Marcin Matyka Joins Andersen Tax in Poland

Andersen Tax in Poland is proud to announce the addition of Marcin Matyka as a Partner in the Warsaw office. Marcin has almost 20 years of experience in tax consulting, tax litigation, M&A and cross-border tax issues. He is a certified Tax Adviser and Attorney at law.

Marcin has extensive expertise advising companies from the private equity and real estate sectors and in supporting oil & gas projects and financial institutions.

Before joining Andersen Tax in Poland, Marcin spent nine years in international law firms, including Norton Rose Fulbright and DLA Piper as the Partner in charge of tax services in Poland. Before that, for over 10 years, he worked at Big Four firms. Marcin started his career in Arthur Andersen before moving to Deloitte.

Marcin received his Master of Science degree in law from John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and has an MBA from the University of Central Lancashire. He is recommended in numerous national and international rankings, including The Legal 500, International Tax Review, World Tax and the Tax Directors Handbook, and is the author of many articles published in the Polish press.

Marcin joins Andersen Tax this fall together with three of his former team members, all of whom are qualified tax advisers and/or attorneys at law. In total there are eight tax professionals who are joining Andersen Tax in Poland this quarter.
