Gareth Davis is a director in Andersen's Commercial practice with more than 20 years of professional experience in U.S. and international corporate taxation. He advises companies ranging from emerging growth firms to multinational businesses, focusing on corporate income tax planning and compliance. He also works with large, owner-operated, venture capital-backed, and private equity-backed businesses on their U.S. and international tax affairs.

- ASC 740 income tax provision services
- U.S. taxation of foreign businesses
- Cross-border direct and indirect taxation (including withholding taxes and VAT)
- Compensation and benefits tax planning, including tax accounting for equity compensation

Before joining Andersen's San Francisco office in 2018, Gareth qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK and worked for 12 years, guiding North American-headquartered businesses through all tax aspects of their global expansion. He continues to provide expertise in international tax matters such as global structuring and transfer pricing, as well as specific U.S. tax principles of international taxation, including Net CFC Tested Income, Foreign Derived Deduction Eligible Income, and foreign tax credit planning.
Gareth works with clients across various industries, including biopharma, alternative energy, SaaS, manufacturing, and consumer products/retail.
