Annette Ahlers is a managing director in the US National Tax practice in the Los Angeles office. Annette has over 30 years of experience in complex corporate tax issues and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. She also has expertise in areas such as net operating losses, formation and liquidation of corporations, and corporate transaction costs.
Before joining Andersen, Annette was of counsel with Troutman Pepper LLP. Previously, she was a partner at EY and led the Mid-Atlantic regional merger and acquisition services practice. Annette also served as an attorney advisor at the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel (Corporate).
