Vince Cincotta is a director in the Alternative Investment Funds practice. He has over 20 years of experience with extensive knowledge of alternative investments and partnership taxation.
During his career, Vince has focused primarily on providing tax compliance and consulting services to private equity funds, hedge funds, funds of funds, and hybrid funds. Vince specializes in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services and provides deep tax knowledge and a sophisticated understanding of his clients' tax and business needs.
Before joining Andersen, Vince was a Vice President and Tax Co-Leader at a publicly held asset management firm that provided a full range of tax administrative services. Vince worked with hedge funds based in the United States and worldwide. Before that, Vince was a tax principal and senior manager at a regional and Big Four accounting firm. Vince is a NYSSCPA Committee member on the Taxation of Financial Instruments and Transactions Committee and has presented to the Committee on various tax topics and current tax events. Vince is very active with firm training and recruiting and regularly presents to various universities in the Tri-State Area.
