Deborah Cygan is a director in the Private Accounting Solutions practice in the Chicago office. Deborah has over 35 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals and their businesses.
Deborah's focus is on day-to-day family and business controllership and accounting functions, banking and lending activities, tax planning for businesses and their owner's personal income, estate and gift taxes, tax compliance, and estate administration.
Before joining Andersen, Deborah was a client services manager at Financial Controllers, Inc., a multi-client family office. She started her professional career as an auditor at Spicer & Oppenheim before switching full-time to tax at Coopers & Lybrand. She later joined a Chicago-based private family office where she served as director of Tax & Accounting.
