Donna Deerkoski

Donna Deerkoski is a director in the Andersen US National Tax practice, where she focuses primarily on inventory and accounting methods. She has over 20 years of experience in tax matters, including:

• Inventory Tax Accounting, Including LIFO, FIFO, UNICAP, the Retail Inventory Method, and Inventory Reserves;
• Income and Expense Recognition;
• Interest Capitalization; and
• Research and development tax credits

Donna works with small to large businesses in a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, biotechnology, and consumer products, among others.  She has expertise in managing implementation projects, advising on IRS examination issues, and on the tax implications of implementing ASC 606.

Before joining Andersen, Donna was part of Deloitte's National Federal Tax Solutions tax practice and specialized in inventory tax accounting. She also spent 13 years at EY, where she developed and led their Inventory and Accounting Methods tax practice.
