Charles R. DeRiso is a director in the Private Client Services practice with more than 10 years of experience providing tax compliance and planning services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and privately held businesses. He advises hedge fund and private equity managers, real estate professionals, athletes, entertainers, business owners, corporate executives, and private aircraft owners on a broad range of tax matters.
Charles specializes in tax compliance for individuals, trusts, businesses, and private foundations, as well as trust and estate planning and income tax planning, including tax considerations related to private aviation.
Prior to joining Andersen, Charles was a senior manager at Armanino, where he focused on tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals in the Long Island and Philadelphia markets. Earlier in his career, he held tax advisory roles at several national and regional accounting firms, expanding his experience serving private clients. Charles also served as an assistant vice president in the Individual Tax Group at Bessemer Trust, where he worked within a family office environment. He began his career at PwC as a member of the Alternative Investment Tax practice.
