Scott Garrod is a director in the McLean office at Andersen. Scott has over 30 years of experience advising clients and their owners throughout the entire business and investment lifecycle, from formation to operations, investment sales, and wrap-up. He has extensive experience working with large, complex pass-through entities, special purpose entities, and REITs. Throughout his career, Scott has focused on providing federal and state tax planning, compliance, and structuring advice to a broad range of organizations and across a wide spectrum of industries, including public and private diversified holding companies, private equity, venture capital, aerospace and defense, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, media, professional sports teams, professional services, real estate, technology, and telecom.
Scott is a Big Four accounting firm veteran and, before joining Andersen, worked in the national tax and local practices at Coopers & Lybrand, Arthur Andersen, and EY.
