Erica Goldberg is a Managing Director in Andersen’s Commercial practice in the New York office. She has over 17 years of experience advising companies on a variety of tax matters, including:

• Federal and state research credits;
• Section 174 capitalization; 
• Revenue and expense recognition;
• Fixed asset analysis;
• Meals and entertainment expense analysis; and
• Section 263A.

She serves clients across a broad range of industries including technology, media & entertainment, life sciences, retail, consumer products, aerospace and defense, telecommunications, and financial services. She also serves clients ranging from start-ups to large, multinational companies.

Before joining Andersen, Erica spent 15 years with EY as part of the Business Tax Services practice, where she assisted large companies with preparing research credit claims and defending claims before the Internal Revenue Service.  She also assisted clients with various other federal tax planning opportunities and reviewing ASC 740 calculations and disclosures.
