Michael Katz

Mike Katz is a director in the Alternative Investment Funds practice at Andersen, with over 10 years of experience providing tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, including fund of funds, venture capital funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, and investment fund management companies. He works directly with both established and emerging private equity and venture capital fund managers, and his technical expertise includes foreign investment reporting, partnership allocation methodologies, and tax considerations related to cryptocurrency transactions.

In addition to his practice work, Mike routinely participates in firmwide and local office training and is actively involved in local office recruiting.
