Sean Maloney is a director in the Commercial practice. He has over 10 years of experience delivering tax services to clients from venture-backed emerging companies, owner-operated businesses, and large family offices. Sean provides a breadth of consulting and compliance services on U.S. and international tax concerns.
Sean's areas of tax experience include managing large consolidated federal and multistate corporate and pass-through tax compliance engagements. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting, international business structuring, taxing authority disputes, and audit resolution.
He currently serves as a member of Andersen's venture-backed initiative focused on the tax concerns of entrepreneurs, owners, and founders of early to mid-stage companies. Sean works with several emerging businesses preparing for IPO or acquisition and planning post exit events.
