Sorin Maruster

Sorin Maruster is a director in the Valuation practice at Andersen, specializing in the valuation of complex financial instruments and securities. With more than 15 years of experience, he advises clients on valuation matters related to financial reporting, tax, transactions, and strategic planning. His experience includes the valuation of complex securities, derivatives, contingent consideration, and other financial instruments, as well as transfer pricing analyses for multinational organizations.

Sorin has served clients across a wide range of industries, providing technical valuation and financial analytics services for public and private companies. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles with Alvarez & Marsal, PwC, KPMG, and EY, where he advised clients on complex valuation matters, deal-related financial analytics, and transfer pricing engagements.

In addition to his client work, Sorin has taught finance, economics, and business analytics courses in MBA and graduate programs at Columbia Business School, the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, and Northwestern University. He has also been a featured speaker at the ASA/USC Annual Fair Value Conference and has served as a subject-matter expert for Valuation of Contingent Consideration, published by The Appraisal Foundation.
