Rob Mullin is a director in Andersen’s Valuation practice with over 10 years of experience providing fair value and fair market value analyses for closely held and sponsor-backed companies. He supports a range of needs, including financial reporting, tax planning and reporting, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions.

Rob’s experience includes valuations of business interests, intangible assets and intellectual property, debt and equity instruments, and complex securities (including stock options and other embedded derivatives). His work includes Section 409A valuations and ASC 718 equity compensation analyses, purchase price allocations under ASC 805, and impairment testing under ASC 350 and ASC 360. He also supports estate and gift tax planning and compliance, corporate reorganizations and ownership/control changes, and carried and capital interest analyses for private equity, venture capital, and hedge fund structures.

Rob has worked with businesses across financial services, technology and software, real estate, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, retail food and consumer products (including large multi-brand operators), rail and transportation, government contracting, healthcare, mining, and professional sports.
