Neal Walters is a director at Andersen with over a decade of experience providing international tax compliance and consulting services to corporations, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and closely held partnerships. He advises both U.S. outbound and foreign inbound clients, ranging from publicly traded companies to startup businesses.

Neal focuses on complex international tax matters, including quantitative modeling and technical analysis related to Pillar Two, GILTI and Subpart F, FDII, and other cross-border planning considerations. He provides support with U.S. federal tax compliance and foreign information return reporting, entity classification elections, and tax residency matters, as well as examination support and administrative relief. His experience also encompasses permanent establishment issues, global tax restructuring initiatives, and assisting clients with IRS tax notices and audits, tax residency certifications (Form 6166), and the application of U.S. and foreign tax treaty provisions.

In addition to his client work, Neal serves as a firm instructor on international tax concepts, leading internal trainings for employees.

Prior to joining Andersen, Neal was with EY, where he specialized in international tax.
