Mandy Wu

Mandy Wu, a managing director in the Silicon Valley office, is an accomplished compensation and benefits specialist with more than 20 years of experience at professional accounting firms and high-tech companies. Throughout her career, Mandy has been recognized for her expertise in global payroll tax compliance, fringe benefit taxation, executive compensation, workforce mobility issues, and complex tax matters.

Mandy advises companies on a wide range of compensation and benefit tax-related matters, including compliance, tax controversy, and dispute resolution. Her areas of specialization include payroll tax compliance at the federal, state, local, and unemployment levels, as well as fringe benefit taxation and employment tax audit representation. She also advises on executive compensation, including private jet usage, security protection, and travel, as well as remote work and nexus issues related to workforce mobility and state tax reporting.

In addition, Mandy collaborates with clients on employment tax credits and incentives, global equity and deferred compensation programs, and worker classification matters, including the treatment of contractors versus employees.

Before joining Andersen, Mandy led the global employment tax function at Meta. Prior to Meta, Mandy worked at LinkedIn and PwC.
