Andersen is pleased to welcome Ross Margelefsky and Daniel Gespass as managing directors in the US National Tax (USNT) practice, expanding the firm’s capabilities in federal income tax, estate tax, and fiduciary income tax.

Ross Margelefsky advises clients on federal tax issues, including accounting methods, accounting periods, revenue recognition, cost capitalization and recovery, inventory valuation, and long-term contract accounting. He works with Fortune 100 and 500 companies as well as privately held businesses to help navigate current and emerging tax legislation. Before Andersen, Ross was a partner at a Big Four firm, progressing from associate to partner in the Washington National Tax Services and Strategic Tax Services groups. He also served as legislative tax accountant with the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, advising on major legislation including the CARES Act, the Build Back Better Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.

Daniel Gespass specializes in complex estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and fiduciary income tax matters. He has over a decade of experience in both the public and private sectors, having served as a senior technician reviewer at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and practiced at law firms advising high-net-worth individuals and corporate fiduciaries.

“Ross and Dan’s expertise strengthens our ability to guide clients through today’s dynamic global tax landscape,” said Mark Vorsatz, global chairman and CEO of Andersen. “With shifting regulations and increasing cross-border complexity, their knowledge will help clients anticipate challenges and seize opportunities worldwide.”
